Play synopsis:   Greg is going through a mid-life crisis when he adopts Silvia, a stray frisky dog, much to the disdain of his wife Kate. Greg seeks council from fellow dog lover, Tom. Kate consults her best friend, Phyllis and they end up with Leslie, the marriage councillor. All supporting roles are played by the same person.


GREG         Male, middle aged, middle class New Yorker

KATE          Greg’s wife, middle aged wanna-be socialite,

SYLVIA       Young female, early 20s, energetic, playful and vivacious

TOM/PHYLLIS/LESLIE     Female between 35-55   Phyllis, a snobby socialite. Tom, a blokey he-man. Leslie, an androgynous character

Rehearsal Requirements: Audition pieces will be available to download and present. Please book an audition time. Female actors to be prepared to audition for multiple roles

Rehearsal times are Tuesdays and Thursdays 7-10pm and Sundays 4-7pm

The plays will be performed at Shoestring Playhouse at The MAC, 77 Beach Rd, Torquay on March 14, 15, 16, 17(matinee), 20, 21, 22, 23 2024
